uTenant welcomes National Manager, Solutions. Introducing Michael.

uTenant is pleased to welcome our newest addition to the Supply Chain Solutions team, Michael McNair.

Michael will be working closely with both our product owner and 3PL provider customers to explore how to optimise their supply chain and logistics operations.

We sat down with Michael, here's what he said:

What encouraged you to make the move to uTenant?

I’ve had a few people ask me this question!
After a long career on the customer and supplier side, I was looking for a business that was doing something a little bit different. And in a mature industry, there’s not too many of them.

How does your career experience help our customers?

I’ve been fortunate to have worked in a lot of different businesses, where I’ve been the voice of the customer. But I also have a lot of 3PL experience as well, having worked with some leading 3PL’s across the industry as well. Being able to blend those two so that we can meet the needs of both parties and work across different functions. This is going to really help us align so that we can meet the needs of all our customers.

"The model is innovating constantly. The team is open and engages with both the product owners and service providers, taking on board their feedback and building better products."

Why is the uTenant model so important as the industry grows and evolves?

We’re disruptors because we do things more efficiently. Connecting and matchmaking in a new way using technology. That’s been a really profound insight for me and to see how far it’s come in such a short time is super exciting.

It’s nice to see how quickly we turn ideas into action here. It’s unique and will hold us in good stead.
