uTenant promotes Greg Wuest to Managing Director

uTenant Pty Ltd (“uTenant” or “the Company”) is excited to announce the promotion of Greg Wuest to the position of Managing Director, effective 2nd December 2024.

Greg has been an essential member of the uTenant team for the past 3 years, serving as National Manager, Business Development. Throughout his time at uTenant, not only has Greg achieved fantastic personal results, he has also been a driving force and mentor within the business – through his friendly leadership, strategic foresight, and a focus on achieving strong results for the whole team.

“We are thrilled to promote Greg to Managing Director,” said Matt Sampson, Founder of uTenant. “His proven track record and in-depth understanding of our business makes him the ideal leader to guide us as we continue to grow.” This change will see Matt, who has served as Founder and Managing Director for the past 7 years, step into the role of CEO. In this new capacity, he will work closely with Greg to drive growth and pursue expansion opportunities for the business.

As Managing Director, Greg will oversee the Company’s operations, strategic planning, and overall management. His key focus areas will include advancing uTenant’s strategic objectives, which include enhancing customer experience, expanding market reach, building upon sustainable growth, innovation and development, and operational excellence.

He possesses a deep understanding of the key drivers behind businesses, their customers, and their technological frameworks. “I focus on helping business leaders unlock the value of technical solutions, with a particular strength in identifying the core needs of both clients and teams. My approach is to work closely with stakeholders to create strategies that prioritise practical, sustainable, and value-centric solutions,” Greg added.

Greg brings a wealth of international experience to his role, having worked in Canada, the United States of America (USA), New Zealand, and Australia, and consulted with businesses across regions such as Singapore, China, Japan, Hong Kong, India, the UK, and the USA. His track record of success in highly competitive markets speaks to his effectiveness as a leader.

Greg has over 30 years of experience in merging sales and operational excellence in supply chain and warehousing, with a Bachelor of Marketing & Business Administration from Sheridan College in Canada.
